The World Shootout announced the results of its 2021 contest at a live online event last Saturday. The winner was Hannah Le Leu with a lovely image half and half of a turtle hatchling. Congratulations to all the winners and those among the placings in the numerous categories.
The winners of the 2021 World Shootout will be announced live on the contest’s Facebook page at 7.30 am PT on 29 January. Ordinarily, this would take place live at the BOOT Show, but has gone online due to the latter’s cancellation due to COVID restrictions.
The World Shootout is calling for entries for the 2021 contest. Entitled “Pictures of Your Life,” it offers categories for Amateurs, Best 5 Images, Wide Angle, Macro & Super Macro, UW Fashion, Black Water, Global Championship, Humoristic Image, Sharks of the world, Wrecks of the World, Environmental & conservation and Video Clips of the World. Images can have been taken anywhere and at any time. Entries are open now and end on 1 November 2021.
The World Shootout has announced its “Pictures of your Life” contest. Its categories include Amateurs, Wide Angle, Macro, UW Fashion, Black Water, Video Clip, Humoristic Image, Environment and Conservation, Wrecks, and Sharks. It is free to enter and the deadline for submissions is 1 June.

All entries by US based photographers will be automatically entered into the USA national photographer category as well as the overall competition. The deadline for all entries is 1 November 2019 and the results will be announced at the BOOt Show on 25 January 2020.
The 2018 World Shootout announced its results at the BOOT show in Dusseldorf. Entries were received from 641 photographers representing 37 countries, and the overall winning image was Andy Schmid’s image of a marine iguana. The World Shootout is making a final call for entries. It is offering prizes in 10 categories. Entries must have been captured between 2 November 2017 and 1 November 2018. The deadline for entries is 1 November 2018.
The World ShootOut announced the results of their 2017 contest at an awards ceremony live on stage at BOOT, Dusseldorf. Many congratulations to all the winners and to Franco Tulli for his winning image of a coconut octopus (Amphioctopus marginatus). The Italian team were the national winners.
