Sony has announced the FE 14mm F1.8 GM ultra-wide angle lens. Constructed with 14 elements in 11 groups, it has a minimum focus distance of 9.8 in. (25 cm) and offers a 114° field of view on land. It also has a rear filter holder.
Nikon has announced the NIKKOR Z 14-30mm f/4 S lens for the Z6 and Z7 full frame mirrorless cameras. Despite being a 14 mm lens with a 114° field of view, it offers direct filer attachment. Minimum focus distance is is 11 in. (0.28 m.) from the focal plane at all zoom positions, so it may work behind a dome port.
